Somatic movement is a way to move by focusing on the internal experience of the movement. To feel the body from inside.
To focus on how I breathe when I move.
Or to notice how I transfer my weight.
Or to be aware how my spine moves when I…
Or which part of my body wants to stretch… to contract or expand…
Or …
It feels good to move this way.

About me
I keep falling in love with new kinds of movement again and again.
In 1994 I discovered for myself contemporary dance, in 2004 – Body Control Pilates, in 2011 – Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy and in 2014 – Body Psychotherapy. Each of these discoveries changed my life significantly. All of them continue to have impact on my relationship to my body, to myself and others; on the way I move, on what I do in my life and how. These experiences, together with a lot of other workshops, experiences and personal explorations add to each other and stir into a unique cocktail, from which I draw knowledge, skills and inspiration for all my activities. More details about my education and experience can be found here.
